The Distant Assistant provides managerial services to independent small business owners. This allows the business owner access to services such as data entry, light bookkeeping, filing, typing, small direct mail projects and marketing efforts, without incurring costly overhead for payroll and benefits, insurance, excess office space, etc.
Work is done off-site and returned when completed either electronically, by mail or in person. Contracts are created outlining the details and duration of each project along with the cost.
